Dinesh Hasda, a quite, obedient and very organized boy from our Patna Home has being diagnosed with Seizure disorder, on Wednesday 13th August 2008. He was admitted to the nearby hospital, Holy Family and is under constant observation.

NLCM – Community Development
New Life Church Ministries – India has initiated a new community development program that caters to the Slum Children of Bahadur Nagar, Patna, In this program Free education will be provided to the Slum Children near their dwelling.
On the 5th of August New Life Church Ministries, Director and Founder, Rev. Gopal Hembrom along with National Executive Director Joseph Meagher, inaugurated this Education Development Program with a few children who have shown interest in studying .
Rains in Patna – Pray for the City
Rains have been slashing through the city without any mercy, low lying areas in the vincity have been affected badly with flooding, Schools have been closed until further notice.

New Life Church Ministries, Homes have shown drastic improvement today we are proud to say that our children are striving to make us walk with our heads held high.
As I write this we have completed the recording for our Monsoon Project that was over seen by a dear friend Lincoln Paul, thanks to his efforts we have couple of New songs numbering upto 19+ ready to be burnt and distributed.
I have heard a couple of these songs and must tell you that these children have talent.

Our Staffer, Srijol Tudu was in for a sudden shock when his mother had come down running from her house that she was staying in for the past 50 years burnt down, she was all in tears as she had lost everything, Clothes, Utensils, furniture, all that remains is the ash of her belongings.
Srijol Tudu, has been with us since 2005, he had left his family to join the ministry he presently stay at the boys home in Katikund. Read the rest of this entry »
Patna - Gift distribution
Children of the Patna Home were eagerly awaiting the return of the”Maramba” and “Marango”- Big Dad and Mom - Rev Gopal Hembrom and Mrs Meena Hembrom, from UK it was all joy and excitement to see them back after a months long trip that took them to UK and Germany, on their return they had gifts in plenty sent from the God-parents for their children.
Hopes went high in anticipation, they were first enticed by distributing delicious sweets, that go their taste buds high, then a small prayer in awe of their return, followed by the distribution of the gifts..

Prayer for Katikund

Your prayers are needed for Katikund, over the past weeks there has been damage to the roof of the building that the children are staying in, Due to instense storm and heavy blowing winds the roof had been damaged two week ago, We were in the process of repairing the roof when another Storm lashed the area.
Children are safe and no injuries have been reported from the home.
